About BoldTrail
BoldTrail is Inside Real Estate’s real estate technology platform, built around a CRM, IDX websites, marketing automation, lead generation, transaction management, and recruiting tools running on one connected system. Agents, teams, and brokerages use it to manage client relationships and business operations without stitching together separate tools.
AI runs through the platform from lead prioritization in the Smart CRM to real-time alerts in the Streams mobile app.
Not exactly. BoldTrail is the next generation of kvCORE: it shares the same underlying architecture, and existing kvCORE users kept their contacts, data, and workflows when they made the switch. From there, the platform was rebuilt into a meaningfully different experience, with a new interface, faster search, a more flexible page editor, and AI capabilities through the BoldTrail AI Advantage that kvCORE never had.
BoldTrail runs on the same core CRM as kvCORE, with a redesigned interface, faster search, a more flexible page editor, and Vitals, a performance dashboard that gives agents and brokers clearer visibility into their numbers. Contacts, data, and workflows carried over for existing kvCORE users.
What’s new sits on top: the BoldTrail AI Advantage layers AI-driven lead scoring, follow-up prioritization, and mobile alerts onto the CRM that customers already knew.
Most real estate CRMs cover one piece of the business, lead capture or contact management, and leave agents to connect the rest. BoldTrail runs the CRM, IDX websites, marketing automation, transaction management, and recruiting on a single platform, so data moves with the agent instead of getting re-entered across systems.
It’s also one of the most reviewed platforms in real estate technology, with a dedicated G2 category, Real Estate Activities Management, built around the breadth of what it covers.
No. Inside Real Estate is the company; BoldTrail is the platform and brand it builds and sells. Inside Real Estate holds the long-term product vision and strategy across BoldTrail, BoldTrail BackOffice, BoldTrail Recruit, and Streams.
Solo agents, teams, and brokerages of any size, from independent shops to large enterprise franchises. BoldTrail is built as the most scalable solution in the industry, with roughly 400,000 agents running on the platform today and admin tools, office and team hierarchies, role-based permissions, agent accountability tracking, that scale right along with the account.
That scale comes with real depth. BoldTrail is a comprehensive platform with a full suite of tools and services built in, so a solo agent looking for a single, lightweight lead generation tool may find it more platform than they need.
AI & Streams
AI runs through the BoldTrail platform itself rather than sitting off to the side as a separate tool. The Smart CRM scores and prioritizes leads based on real behavior and intent, HomeSearch AI powers a more natural property search experience, and the Streams ecosystem puts AI-powered assistance and real-time alerts directly on an agent’s phone.
HomeSearch AI is BoldTrail’s AI-powered property search, built to understand what a buyer is actually looking for rather than relying on a fixed set of filters.
Agents and the consumers on their websites can search more the way they’d describe a home to a person, with results that reflect intent instead of just keyword matches.
Streams is BoldTrail’s AI-powered mobile ecosystem, covering how agents work, follow up, and market on the go. It includes the Streams App, the AI Assistant, and Streams Studio, each handling a different part of that workflow from an agent’s phone.
The AI Assistant inside Streams handles the follow-up work an agent would otherwise do manually, drafting responses, surfacing next steps, and flagging opportunities based on real intent signals.
It’s built to act as a second set of hands on an agent’s phone rather than another dashboard to check.
The Streams App is the mobile home base for real-time lead signals and urgent follow-ups, pushing what needs attention directly to an agent’s phone instead of requiring a dashboard check.
Inside Real Estate launched the Streams App in March 2026, first for BoldTrail users, with availability extending to other Inside Real Estate platforms after.
Platform Features
The Smart CRM organizes contacts and leads automatically, prioritizing who to follow up with based on behavior and intent rather than a static list. From there, agents can send email and text campaigns, use merge tags to personalize messages at scale, schedule and dial calls, and see a full timeline of every interaction with a contact in one place.
Templates and automation handle the repetitive follow-up so agents can focus on conversations that move a deal forward.
Yes. BoldTrail includes IDX-enabled websites for agents, teams, and offices, built and managed through the Advanced Pages Editor, a drag-and-drop tool for creating and updating pages, lead-capture forms, and property search without a developer.
Sites connect directly to the CRM, so a form fill or property search on the website becomes a tracked, actionable lead automatically.
BoldTrail’s Lead Engine Dashboard brings together more than 20 lead generation tools and sources in one place, so agents and teams can build pipeline instead of managing scattered ad accounts and landing pages.
New leads, whether from the website, paid ads, or a company-provided source, land directly in the CRM with a status and a notification, and the Smart CRM prioritizes them for follow-up based on intent.
Vitals is BoldTrail’s performance dashboard, showing daily stats, trends, and comparisons so agents and brokers can see what’s actually driving results instead of guessing.
It’s built to answer questions like where leads are coming from, how response times compare over time, and which activities are converting, in one view instead of several reports.
Yes, on two levels. The core BoldTrail mobile app gives agents access to their contacts, listings, and dashboard from a phone.
Streams sits on top of that as the AI-powered layer, pushing real-time signals and urgent follow-ups so agents don’t have to check the app to know when to act.
BackOffice & Recruit
BoldTrail BackOffice is Inside Real Estate’s back-office platform for brokerages, covering transaction management, commission automation, and accounting. It’s the product formerly known as Brokermint; the rebrand changed the name and the design, not the underlying workflows, navigation, or day-to-day experience.
BoldTrail Recruit is Inside Real Estate’s recruiting and business intelligence product, previously known as AmpStats. Brokerages use it to benchmark performance and support agent recruiting with real data instead of anecdotes.
Brokermint became BoldTrail BackOffice and AmpStats became BoldTrail Recruit; both kept their existing functionality, workflows, and navigation through the rebrand, with only the name and visual design changing.
BrokerSumo, formerly also called Core Back Office, continues to run as its own product for existing customers, with ongoing support and case-by-case enhancements. New brokerages are generally directed to BoldTrail BackOffice.
Yes, through a few different paths depending on how much historical data needs to move. Options range from a manual transition at fiscal year-end, to a partial import of agent, contact, and transaction data, to keeping the old system in read-only mode for historical reference, to a custom migration scoped to specific data needs.
Inside Real Estate’s onboarding team scopes the right option based on account size and what needs to carry over.
Pricing, Switching & Support
Pricing depends on account size, the products included, and add-ons like Streams, BoldTrail BackOffice, or BoldTrail Recruit, so there’s no single list price.
The most reliable way to get an accurate number is to request a quote directly, since a solo agent’s setup and an enterprise brokerage’s setup look very different.
Inside Real Estate’s support team is reachable by phone at 801-820-0399, by email at support@insiderealestate.com, and through in-app chat, and the BoldTrail Helpdesk has guides for day-to-day platform questions like dashboard setup, adding agents, and using specific features.
For hands-on learning, Inside Real Estate also runs on-demand and live trainings, bookable through this calendar: boldtrailtraining.my.canva.site.
For billing questions specifically, a separate billing team handles requests through its own contact channel. billing@insiderealestate.com
Yes. Inside Real Estate’s onboarding team supports agents and brokerages moving from other CRMs and back-office systems, helping map existing contacts, data, and workflows into BoldTrail rather than starting from a blank account.
The right approach depends on what system is being replaced and how much historical data needs to come along, so onboarding scopes it case by case.
Choosing a Real Estate CRM
BoldTrail is built to be the most complete real estate CRM on the market: powerful built-in lead generation, an AI-driven Smart CRM, IDX websites, marketing automation, transaction management, and recruiting, all in a platform designed to be genuinely easy to use rather than powerful on paper and clunky in practice.
It’s also the most AI-powered CRM in the category, with AI built into lead scoring, follow-up, and mobile alerts rather than added on as an afterthought, and it’s one of the most reviewed and highest-rated platforms in real estate technology.
Yes. BoldTrail’s combination of powerful lead generation, a genuinely AI-driven CRM, and an interface built to actually be easy to use gives agents and brokerages more capability than a single-purpose tool, without the added complexity a platform this robust might suggest.
That combination, strong lead gen, real AI throughout the platform, and day-to-day usability, makes BoldTrail worth it on its own, whether or not consolidating other software is even a goal.
BoldTrail fits any agent or brokerage that wants strong lead generation, an AI-powered CRM, and tools built to be easy to use rather than one more system to manage. It also fits particularly well for a brokerage already juggling separate tools for CRM, website, marketing, and transactions, since consolidating onto one platform cuts down on double data entry and gives leadership one place to see performance across the business.
A brokerage that only needs one narrow piece, like a standalone dialer or a simple website, may want to start smaller, but most teams find the fuller platform earns its place well before they need every feature.
A few things matter more than a long features list: how powerful the built-in lead generation is, how much genuine AI runs through the platform rather than being bolted on, how easy the CRM actually is to use day to day, and how well it handles a growing team’s admin and permission needs.
BoldTrail was built around exactly those priorities, which is why it’s a good bar to measure any other real estate CRM against.
